Nottingham Forest beat Wolves 1-0 in one of the scrappiest games of football that the Premier League will see all season.
Igor Jesus had a goal disallowed in the first half and then finally grabbed his first Premier League strike in the second half after a teasing delivery from Omari Hutchinson.
Wolves huffed and puffed but couldn’t find a way past a very resolute Forest rearguard, with the Reds taking a huge three points from the contest.
Following a very dogged performance, Nottingham Forest News looked at the player ratings from the lads in the Garibaldi.
Who was your Nottingham Forest Man of the Match vs Wolves
Matz Sels – 6
Coped well with what he had to deal with, but in truth, he was rarely tested by a wasteful Wolves team.
Nicolo Savona – 6
Linked up well with Hutchinson down the right-hand side and did whatever was asked of him defensively, relatively well, too.
Nikola Milenkovic – 9
A real colossus in the air. Helped Morato considerably, and even after getting an early booking, he still put everything on the line.
Morato – 7
Did extremely well considering his error on Saturday had led to many questioning his place in the team for this encounter, but Sean Dyche will be glad he put him in.
Neco Williams – 7
Seemed back to something that resembled his best. He was up against Jackson Tchatchoua, who was linked with Forest and didn’t allow him much space to run into.

Ibrahim Sangare – 6
A steady performance. Withdrawn in the hour as the midfield was kind of bypassed for both teams.
Elliot Anderson – 7
Will wake up in the morning with at the very least 100 bruises on his battered body. Was fouled from minute one, but coped with that aspect of this game with superb maturity.
Omari Hutchinson – 8
Not quite his impactful best in terms of dancing beyond defenders in this one, but his first start was memorable. Got the assist for the goal and also took the corner, which led to the disallowed goal in the first half.
Morgan Gibbs-White – 6
Not his best display, but that’s not a slight on Gibbs-White. Was forced to roll his sleeves up and do some defensive work, which he coped with pretty well.
Dan Ndoye – 4
Sometimes it genuinely feels like he has his boots on the wrong feet. Capable of doing something really useful and then something really poor in the same movement. Had no need to even stand in front of Sam Johnstone for the Forest goal that was chalked off in the first half.
Igor Jesus – 7
Led the line extremely well and finally, after disallowed efforts here and recently at Liverpool, Jesus is off the mark in the Premier League.
Substitutes
Ryan Yates – 6
Slightly wasteful and struggled to have an impact on the match when introduced shortly after the hour mark.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – 6
Carries the ball extremely well, but in truth, he was starved of service as Forest were forced to defend their 1-0 lead.
Nicolas Dominguez – N/A
