Nottingham Forest thrashed Tottenham 3-0 at the City Ground to move five points clear of the relegation zone.

Spurs had no answer to a dominant Forest display, with Callum Hudson-Odoi scoring twice and Ibrahim Sangare also getting his second goal for the club.

Dyche’s game plan worked to absolute perfection, and the Forest head coach is starting to see some rewards of his meticulous approach to training.

Forest have little to worry about if they keep turning out this level of performance between now and the end of the season, with Dyche praising two stars after the win.

Sean Dyche picks two players out for praise in Forest win

It was hard for supporters to pick a Man of the Match from this one, but Dyche managed to pick two out during his post-match press conference.

He was particularly impressed with Elliot Anderson, but also managed to give praise to Callum Hudson-Odoi after he also bagged two goals.

He said: “I thought Elliot Anderson was outstanding today because, as a manager, we look at the game differently.

“He did all the nuts and bolts. I’ve mentioned in the last few weeks about his development, doing the hard yards and getting in the right positions, breaking the game up. We know he can play.

“Callum is another one. He’s been knocking on the door, and we know what a good player he is at this football club.”

Dyche has Forest moving in the right direction

A win and three goals is becoming quite normal as far as Forest are concerned, with this win over Tottenham following three-goal wins over Liverpool and Leeds.

Hudson-Odoi scored two goals in the game. His work rate off the ball often goes unnoticed, though and perhaps he’s been taking a leaf out of Anderson’s book.

Who was the Nottingham Forest Man of the Match vs Tottenham

Much like last season, Dyche is trying to find that winning formula and over the past few league games, Forest have been trying to stick with the same 11 players.

Every single one of the players wearing the Garibaldi today deserves credit and it’s perhaps no surprise that Anderson and Hudson-Odoi were the two singled out for praise.
