Nottingham Forest take on Everton tonight with a clear objective to keep pulling away from the relegation zone.
Successive defeats to Fulham and Manchester City have coincided with a couple of defeats for West Ham, and Forest still have a big opportunity to put daylight between them and the bottom three.
With a rampant Aston Villa on the horizon for Forest at the weekend, it’s vitally important that three points are taken from the game against Everton and Sean Dyche has to have his team well-drilled for tonight’s game.

Chris Sutton predicts Nottingham Forest vs Everton score
Sutton has done his weekly prediction piece for the latest round of matches, with the game against Everton coming just weeks after a resounding 3-0 win for the Toffees at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
On that occasion, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall inspired the victory with his cross turned into the Forest net by Nikola Milenkovic after just 82 seconds of the contest.
Sutton believes tonight will be different, however, and fancies Forest to cause a bit of an upset and claim a very big three points in the context of the club’s season.
He told BBC Sport: “Forest were very good against Manchester City on Saturday, and they will feel they should’ve got something out of that game.
“Sean Dyche was unhappy with City’s winner, but, watching it back, you could see Morgan Gibbs-White hooked his leg around Nico O’Reilly and tried to drag him down with him, so it was good refereeing to suss that out and not give the foul to Forest.
“Even so, it was an impressive display. Because of that, and because of who Everton will be missing, I’m backing Dyche to get the better of his old team this time.”

Forest must start piling the pressure on West Ham
The Reds need to get a win and quickly, with West Ham seriously struggling for wins at the moment, to pile the pressure on Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.
Forest have the quality within the squad, but ultimately, it’s up to the players on the pitch to show they’re up for the fight of remaining in the Premier League beyond this season.
With a trip to West Ham coming up, Forest can’t go into that game knowing that a defeat would see the team drop into the relegation zone and the club’s home form is going to be absolutely vital.
With a number of top players missing from David Moyes’ team, tonight could be a good time to play Everton and hopefully, the Reds can finish the match with a huge three points to their name.
