Nottingham Forest piled the pressure back on West Ham to move five points clear of the relegation zone once again, with a stunning 2-0 win at Brentford.
Forest started brightly and took the lead when Igor Jesus controlled smartly and volleyed an unstoppable effort beyond Brentford goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
What is YOUR immediate three-word reaction to our performance against Brentford…
The game was one that Forest desperately needed something from and Sean Dyche will be absolutely delighted with how the game panned out from the word go.
Following the win we looked at some player ratings for our heroes of the hour…

Nottingham Forest player ratings
Matz Sels – 7
Was a little bit slow off his line at times, but did make a very good save from Dango Ouattara in the first half.
Ola Aina – 7
Did very well at right-back up against the pace and dynamism of the Brentford forwards.
Nikola Milenkovic – 9
A rock at the back for the Reds, standing firm, up against one of the Premier League’s best in Igor Thiago.
Murillo – 6
Defended well, but loses a mark for his passing, which was wayward and caused the Reds problems in certain moments.
Neco Williams – 8
Another consistently brilliant performance from Williams, who literally gets better and better each week.
Elliot Anderson – 7
Much more like the Anderson that Forest fans have grown to love over the last 18 months, producing a quality midfield display.
Ibrahim Sangare – 6
Not Sangare’s best performance, but the one thing his presence does bring to the team is the ability to free up Anderson to drive with the ball a bit more.
Who was your Man of the Match vs Brentford
Callum Hudson-Odoi – 6
Not his best afternoon, but it’s admirable how much defensive work he does despite the fact that he’s always keen to get on the front foot.
Morgan Gibbs-White – 6
Was frustrated throughout the contest, and everything he tried to do never really came off. Still, he worked tirelessly as ever.
Nicolas Dominguez – 6
Busy and energetic without having much quality when in possession of the ball.
Igor Jesus – 7
Scored a superb goal in the early stages of the contest and did well with the service he got, which, as ever, wasn’t an awful lot.
Substitutes
Omari Hutchinson – 6
Was quiet when introduced and he couldn’t really impose himself on the match.
Taiwo Awoniyi – 7
Changed the game in Forest’s favour after Brentford started to dominate in the second half, taking his goal extremely well.
Morato – N/A
