Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche just hours after failing to beat Wolves at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest were held to a goalless draw by rock bottom of the league Wolves on Wednesday night.
The result leaves Forest just three points above the relegation zone, with Liverpool to come after the Fenerbahce game.

Evangelos Marinakis watched on from the stands and was visibly frustrated, whilst sections of the fan base booed Sean Dyche off the pitch at full-time.
Now, the club have just released the following statement on X, confirming Dyche’s dismissal after less than four months in charge.
“Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
“We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future. We will be making no further comment at this time.”

Nottingham Forest have been keeping tabs on Oliver Glasner and Marco Silva
Over the last 24 hours, it has been reported that Marinakis has been keeping tabs on Oliver Glasner’s situation at Crystal Palace.
Glasner is leaving the Eagles at the end of the season, and the Forest owner is exploring the possibility of hiring him in the summer.
Forest are also long-term admirers of Marco Silva, and he was heavily linked to the job following Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking.
Who would be your dream replacement for Sean Dyche? 👀
Like Glasner, Silva’s contract is due to expire, so the Fulham manager could become available in a few months.
The issue is, Forest need someone for the here and now. Relegation is a very realistic threat, so they must hire someone with vast experience in the division as soon as possible.
Perhaps Marinakis will look to appoint a fire-fighter manager on a short-term deal, before aiming to recruit a more ambitious option in the summer, if indeed the club’s Premier League status is retained.
