Morgan Gibbs-White led from the front for Nottingham Forest, and he didn’t deserve to be on the losing team against Brighton.
Vitor Pereira’s team are firmly in trouble at the wrong end of the Premier League table, and the new head coach has now lost both of the top-flight games he’s taken charge of.
How would rate Morgan Gibbs-White’s performances for Nottingham Forest this season?
Gibbs-White scored a superb long-range effort to equalise after Diego Gomez had opened the scoring, but just 40 seconds after, Forest conceded what would prove to be the winning goal.
After another drab performance, Gibbs-White has now fired a warning to his teammates ahead of the final 10 games of the season.

What Morgan Gibbs-White wants from Forest teammates
The Forest number 10 is now keen for his teammates to start to look in the mirror at their own performances after another defeat, which could prove critical for the Reds.
West Ham will climb out of the relegation zone on Wednesday night if they beat Fulham at Craven Cottage and Forest lose, as expected, at title-chasing Manchester City.
With that in mind, Gibbs-White has urged his fellow teammates to take a look in the mirror at their own performances and get real with the situation that the club finds itself in.
He said in his press conference after the defeat: “I just think we weren’t really switched on from the first whistle. We can see that in my eyes, two sloppy goals.
“Obviously, we created a few chances and could have scored more, but at the end of the day, it wasn’t our day. We’ve got to go back to the drawing board now, as I said, look at ourselves in the mirror and go again. We’re in a tough situation at the minute and we need to get out of it.”
Time for Gibbs-White’s teammates to step up and help him
Since the turn of the year, Gibbs-White has been fantastic, but he can’t lead Forest to safety on his own and will need serious help given the severity of the situation at the moment.
Gibbs-White’s goal yesterday was nothing short of remarkable, and it’s about time that some other players started stepping up to score goals in the Premier League, too.
Who was the worst performing player against Brighton?
The Reds slipped to a 2-1 defeat…
The defending from the normally reliable Murillo and Neco Williams was disgraceful against Brighton and perhaps those two are definitely in need of a long look in the mirror at their current form.
Forest are in serious danger and right now, the lack of fight suggests that if the Reds slip into the bottom three, there is little chance of the team having the minerals to get themselves out.
