Luke Littler might have the game of darts in his palm, but on Thursday night, he might have lost some Nottingham Forest supporters from his fan base.

The Nuke was in Premier League action at the Motorpoint Arena – a short walk away from the City Ground – at the same time as Forest were losing 1-0 to Midtjylland.
Who was the worst Nottingham Forest player vs FC Midtjylland?
Much like Forest, Littler suffered a painful night at the Nottingham Arena, losing in the semi-final to Luke Humphries who would in turn go on and lose to Jonny Clayton in the final.
Forest were beaten by a goal 10 minutes from time by South Korean centre-forward Cho Gue-sung and that gave Littler some ammunition for the crowd in Nottingham.

Luke Littler winds up Nottingham Forest fans
As Littler went to the stage to play his semi-final match, he was given some abuse from the spectators inside the Nottingham Arena who were clearly keen for him to lose.
When the camera panned in on him ahead of his walk on, he held up one finger and made out a zero with the other before doing a thumbs-down action to suggest Forest had lost.
Forest fans did, however, enjoy a laugh at his expense as the world number one was beaten in a deciding leg by Humphries, and his Premier League campaign is stuttering by his usual high standards.
Forest have similar issues, and this defeat to Midtjylland leaves Vitor Pereira with more questions than answers as his pretty much full-strength team lost to the Danish outfit for the second time this season.
Now, it remains to be seen how the team performs against Fulham on Sunday, and hopefully, it’s a performance and result that doesn’t lead to any more ridicule from sports stars across the globe.
