Dan Ndoye was absent on Thursday night as Nottingham Forest lost 1-0 to Midtjylland in the Europa League.

The Reds succumbed to a second defeat to the Danish outfit on home soil this season, and now the club’s European hopes hang by a thread.

Today, focus switches back to the Premier League, and Fulham arrive at the City Ground looking to avoid a third defeat in succession.

Ndoye missed out on the game in midweek, and now, Vitor Pereira has been asked about his fitness ahead of today’s game against Fulham.

Vitor Pereira delivers update on Dan Ndoye

Pereira will see which players he has available for today’s game after a tough outing three days ago against Midtjylland.

One of them might not be Ndoye, however, with Pereira leaving things late before making a judgement call on the Swiss performer.

He said in his press conference: “With Ndoye, I don’t know. We will see today (Friday) and then make a decision on whether to include him or not.”

Ndoye hasn’t really made his mark on the Premier League this season, but with the World Cup around the corner, he will be desperate to finish the season with a flourish.

With Forest having wingers short on confidence at the moment, Pereira needs all the players available he can get his hands on, and that includes Ndoye.

It will be interesting to see if the player does make it back to the squad for the game against Fulham, and having him run at the Cottagers in the final 20 minutes or so could be very useful.
