Tottenham have stopped the rot going into their crunch game with Nottingham Forest, but it might be a good thing for the Reds.

Spurs claimed a late share of the spoils against Liverpool at Anfield when Richarlison scored, and the result kept the team a point ahead of Forest.

The Reds drew 0-0 with Fulham and thought they’d claimed a big three points when Dan Ndoye scored, only for VAR to intervene and disallow the strike.

What is your score prediction for Nottingham Forest’s trip to Tottenham?

Many feel that Tottenham’s performance against Liverpool shows they have fight ahead of the clash against Forest, but it might actually be a good thing for Vitor Pereira’s team.

Tottenham result will give Igor Tudor a stay of execution

One result surely won’t change the perception of how fans and players view Tudor.

Forest will be more than happy that the Croatian is due to stay in place at Tottenham for at least another week, and the game provides the Reds with a big opportunity.

It’s been a long time since Forest tasted success in the Premier League, and Pereira is desperate to get that first win out of the way and prove to fans that he can keep the team in the top-flight.

Tottenham have looked like a basket case on home soil all season, and an early goal could be crucial to any success that Forest might have on Sunday.

The opposition on Sunday are yet to win a Premier League game in 2026 and given that it’s now March, a defeat going into the international break could be seriously detrimental for them.

Forest need to take the game to Tottenham

Pereira has spoken about his players expressing themselves since he came in, and the Reds need to take that approach into the game against Tottenham.

It’s likely to be a rotated squad to face FC Midtjylland on Thursday, and as a result, the extra emphasis will be placed on getting a positive result at Tottenham on Sunday.

Pereira needs a game plan that ensures Forest have no regrets and puts pressure on Tottenham in front of a disgruntled fan base.

Tudor remaining in charge does feel like a good thing, and now the emphasis is on Forest to turn up in North London and claim a big result.
