Morgan Gibbs-White turned down a move from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham in the summer, and on Sunday, he showed them what they’re missing.
Gibbs-White has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, with yesterday’s against Tottenham his ninth in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old is the leader of the pack as far as Forest are concerned, and he’s going to have a big say in whether or not the Reds avoid relegation.
Gibbs-White enjoyed his goal against Tottenham as Forest won 3-0 in North London on Sunday, and after his failed move to Spurs, the player reacted on Instagram following a brilliant win for the Reds.

Gibbs-White took to his personal Instagram account after the game with Tottenham and summed up the performance in four words.
Alongside photos of himself celebrating in wild fashion, he posted the words: “Big day, big performance,” with Forest leapfrogging Tottenham into 16th place in the Premier League table.
Gibbs-White chose not to sign for Tottenham in the summer, despite reports claiming that Daniel Levy had activated a £60 million release clause in his contract.
Evangelos Marinakis got personally involved and with Gibbs-White never really keen on Tottenham being viewed as a move that represented upward progression, a contract extension was agreed.
His performance won’t have made Tottenham fans feel any better about their failed transfer either.
Gibbs-White had 38 touches, won three aerial challenges, completed 80% of his passes, scored and also finished the game with a 7.65 rating from Who Scored.
