Nottingham Forest will likely experience a very busy summer transfer window when the final five games of the Premier League campaign are consigned to the history books.

The Reds will hope to secure another Premier League season in the coming weeks and edged close to safety with a 4-1 thrashing of Burnley at the City Ground on Sunday.

A host of players will be expected to leave Forest in the summer, with last summer’s recruitment unlikely to live long in the memory of the fan base.

If they’re both fit, who is the number one goalkeeper at Nottingham Forest?

Let us know who should get the nod in the comments below…

Now, one player who hasn’t made an appearance under Vitor Pereira is in the sights of some clubs ahead of a possible summer departure.

Cruzeiro in talks to sign Forest goalkeeper John Victor

When Matz Sels broke down with a groin problem earlier in the season, Victor became the number one goalkeeper under Sean Dyche.

However, that didn’t last long, and Victor injured himself during a game with Aston Villa, making an error and then leaving the field in tears with a problem that required surgery.

On the back of that, Forest signed Stefan Ortega, and now, according to Brazilian publication Moon BH, Cruzeiro are in talks with the Reds to try and sign Victor in the summer.

It’s believed that whilst Victor is open to leaving Forest, he would like to stay in Europe for a little while longer before returning to Brazil if he can.

Right now, Victor’s salary is too high for Cruzeiro, but nonetheless, they’re keen to hold discussions with Forest regarding the player and his availability.

Forest will likely go in search of a new goalkeeper in the summer, with Sels not getting any younger and Ortega out of contract at the end of his short-term deal.

Now, it feels as though the writing is on the wall for Victor and his days at Forest look numbered.
