Nottingham Forest are preparing themselves for a Europa League semi-final with Aston Villa, which begins at the City Ground tonight.

The Reds will go into the first leg eight games unbeaten under Vitor Pereira, with the Portuguese boss settling into his role after a somewhat inconsistent start.

Come on then, let’s have some score predictions for tonight’s huge Europa League clash!

Forest have done well in Europe to this point, and the hope will be that the Reds can take the game to Aston Villa at the City Ground as they go in search of a first-leg advantage.

Ola Aina will likely be in the Forest team this afternoon, and he’s delivered praise to one teammate before the clash with the Premier League outfit tonight.

Ola Aina makes Morgan Gibbs-White prediction

Gibbs-White is the man of the moment in the Premier League, and he’s been nominated for the Player of the Month award for the entire division.

He’s on 16 goals in all competitions this season, and that’s his best return in a single campaign since arriving at Forest in the summer of 2022.

Aina is a big fan of Gibbs-White and has predicted that he’s going to go a long way, given the current form that he’s producing.

He said in his pre-match press conference: “Morgan has the potential to be a very top player. I don’t want to put any pressure on him, but he’s the real deal.

“I love playing with him, and I know the fans enjoy watching him. He’s just a fantastic player.

“He’s definitely taken a massive step forward. You see what he’s producing on the football pitch, and it’s amazing to see; it’s good for him and the team.

“Off the pitch, Morgan’s still the same Morgan; very friendly and outgoing.”

Is this the team to give us a first leg advantage in the Europa League against Aston Villa?

Gibbs-White will likely lead the team out at the City Ground again tonight and although Ryan Yates is the club captain, it’s the number 10 who is the inspirational leader.

Tonight, Gibbs-White will go back on the goal trail, and if he stays true to his current form, Forest could be on for a good night against Villa this evening.
