Sean Dyche’s appointment by Nottingham Forest might have set Forest back a few years had he been allowed to continue.
Thankfully, Vitor Pereira has come in and breathed new life into a struggling team, and tonight’s Europa League semi-final with Aston Villa epitomises that.
Come on then, let’s have some score predictions for tonight’s huge Europa League clash!
Dyche was sacked after a drab 0-0 draw with Wolves, and although he took time to settle and get his own methods across, Pereira is now eight games unbeaten in all competitions.
Pereira has changed a few bits around the training ground, and in terms of the playing style, it would appear that a big difference has been noticed by the players.

What Vitor Pereira changed immediately at Nottingham Forest
According to The Telegraph, the atmosphere around the City Ground was tense and pensive when Pereira took over, and that was sorted immediately.
Dyche had banned things like snoods and certain jewellery on Trentside, but Pereira wanted to make his players feel much more relaxed.
Disciplines and fines are now policed by the players themselves, and one non-negotiable for the squad under Pereira is that they all eat together in the canteen.
Dyche had apparently made players nervous before big games and as a result, Pereira tried to rectify that by relaxing them ahead of those bigger games.
This might not sound like Pereira has reinvented the wheel, but it does showcase a manager in touch with modern-day methods and how to man-manage players.
Dyche proved so far out of touch with that stuff that he made the players seem uncomfortable in training and on a matchday and it remains to be seen if he will work in the Premier League ever again.
