Matz Sels will likely return between the posts today as Nottingham Forest play Newcastle United.

Stefan Ortega kept goal in the Europa League on Thursday night, but Sels remains the first choice in the Premier League.

Would you be happy with this team today?

If not, what changes would you make?

Sels has been the established number one goalkeeper this season, and his performances have improved as the season has progressed.

The Belgian will almost certainly be the understudy to Thibaut Courtois at the World Cup and ahead of the season finishing, he’s suggested that Forest have helped him complete a dream come true.

Matz Sels completes childhood dream at Forest

Sels has been speaking to the Premier League ahead of today’s game with Newcastle, and he’s shared a childhood dream that he’s managed to achieve at Forest.

Last season, Sels got a share of the Golden Glove alongside Arsenal stopper David Raya and the Belgian has claimed that this was always a dream of his.

Sels is in fine form of late and although he started this season a little bit poorly, there is hope that he can remain at the City Ground next season.

Forest might look at another goalkeeper to compete with Sels and it remains to be seen whether Ortega will earn a contract extension after signing a short-term deal.

It’s great that Sels has been able to tick off a childhood dream at Forest and now he will hope to finish the season with a flourish and push Courtois at the World Cup.
