Nottingham Forest star Nicolas Dominguez continues to fly under the radar with his performances.
The Argentine performer has been named in the 55-man squad for the World Cup, and he will hope to make the final cut and head to the United States this summer.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST ARE SAFE!!!! What advice would you now give to Evangelos Marinakis ahead of next season?
Dominguez has played 39 games in all competitions for Forest this season, being tasked with operating in a number of different positions.
The 27-year-old has already made 11 appearances for the Argentina national team and after making 100 appearances for Forest, he’s been asked about playing alongside Lionel Messi.

What Nicolas Dominguez enjoyed about Messi experience
Dominguez is probably fighting a losing battle to make the 26-man squad for the World Cup, with Argentina favourites to defend their title.
However, it’s a superb recognition for a fine season for Dominguez that he’s been deemed worthy of a place in the 55-man squad.
Quizzed on playing alongside Messi, Dominguez has suggested what it’s like playing in the same team as him and also what he noticed when he first played with him.
He told Forest’s official YouTube channel: “I couldn’t believe how much easier it makes everything.
“You just give him the ball and be well-positioned, but in those training sessions, the day-to-day, I think you grow a lot as a player, seeing the things he does, how he moves, it’s something so unique.
“As a person, I was talking to other players who have played with him, and they always say the same thing: he’s just a normal person, he’s very, very calm. A real leader.”
Forest have to keep Dominguez
Forest have to keep hold of the vastly underrated Dominguez, and given what he’s performed like this season, that does seem likely.
Dominguez hasn’t always been deemed the first choice at the City Ground, but when he’s come into the team, he’s done a stunning job wherever he’s been asked to play.
🔠How would you rate Nicolas Dominguez for his time at Nottingham Forest?
Whether it’s in central midfield or on the flanks, Dominguez always produces a performance that is 7/10 or above.
Fans can buy into that level of commitment and although players will come and go this summer, Dominguez must be protected at all costs at Forest.
