Nottingham Forest fans have been voting for their Player of the Year for the 2025/26 campaign, and we can now reveal the winner of our poll.

Forest have gone through four managers during the season, but the club has remained in the Premier League and reached the semi-final of the Europa League.

The Reds won’t have European football weighing them down next season, and under Vitor Pereira, there has to be optimism that things can move forward.

Nottingham Forest fans vote for the Player of the Year

Forest under Pereira have been nothing short of brilliant, with a clear game plan in every game and a real shift in man-management from the archaic methods of Sean Dyche before him.

At Nottingham Forest News, we’ve been asking our supporters on TalkingPoints to vote for the player they believe deserves the Player of the Year award, with four quarter-finals, two semis and a final being voted for by YOU!

Omari Hutchinson, Elliot Anderson, Murillo and Ibrahim Sangare were dumped out at the quarter-final stages, to leave four remaining.

Igor Jesus and Callum Hudson-Odoi were knocked out in the semi-finals.

That meant that the unsurprising final was between Morgan Gibbs-White and Neco Williams, with the Welshman romping to our title of Player of the Year.

The vote has come to an end, but you can still get involved and have your say on all things Nottingham Forest by signing up here.

FINAL: Morgan Gibbs-White vs Neco Williams?

Neco Williams has been so consistent for Nottingham Forest

Whilst Forest have struggled for full-backs domestically and in Europe, the left-back has been a model of consistency, playing superbly well at right-back in recent weeks too.

Williams has played over 50 games in all competitions for Forest this season, proving a standout performer under all four managers the club have had across the campaign.

Perhaps the only disappointment for Williams is that he won’t get to end a stunning season by heading to the World Cup, with Wales beaten by Bosnia in the qualifiers.

Neco Williams has attracted interest from a number of clubs, and hopefully, Forest can tie the player down to a new contract ahead of his best years, which are still on the horizon.
