Nikola Milenkovic has been pretty steady for Nottingham Forest over the last two seasons, but the Reds are clearly keen to add competition for his place.
The Serbian arrived in a deal worth £12 million in the summer of 2024, and he’s proved to be worth his weight in gold alongside Murillo in the Forest defence.
Fill in the gap: Lloyd Kelly would be a __/10 signing for Nottingham Forest
Forest have been linked with Jan Ziolkowski this summer, but it would appear that he’s not the only defender being looked at from Serie A.
The Reds have Morato, Jair Cunha and Zach Abbott competing with Murillo and Milenkovic for places, but it appears that Forest still want another centre-back.

Nottingham Forest want Lloyd Kelly
According to TuttoJuve, Forest are going to rival Aston Villa and Newcastle for the services of the central defender this summer.
Juve will likely be willing to sell the defender during the window, with offers around £30 million set to be considered by the Old Lady.
Kelly made 35 appearances for Juve last season as they qualified for the Europa League, but the club’s financial situation might see them cash in and bolster the squad elsewhere.
Before signing for Juve, Kelly made 14 appearances for Newcastle, and the Magpies could be keen on re-signing the defender.
Prior to that, he made 141 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring three times, and Kelly has ample Premier League experience.
Gary O’Neil called Kelly ‘incredible’ during his time in charge of the Cherries, and at 27-year-old the player now has lots of experience to take to any club that signs him this summer.
In comparison to Milenkovic, Kelly won 2.3 headers on average in each game last season, compared to 2.1 won by Milenkovic in each game, according to WhoScored.
Kelly might not be the most exciting signing in the world, but his Premier League experience might prove very useful for Forest as they look to kick on next season.
