Nottingham Forest had a very unsettled season last year.

Evangelos Marinakis sacked three managers, and it ultimately resulted in an unexpected relegation battle.

Ola Aina predicts Nottingham Forest to qualify for Champions League

Aina has confidently predicted Nottingham Forest to qualify for the Champions League next season, which will be music to the ears of supporters.

“We go again next season,” the 29-year-old explained.

“Next season, I’m saying it here as well, we qualify for the Champions League… we qualify for the Champions League.

“Top four, we will be there… top four. You heard it here first and we will come back to this. I’m saying top four.”

⭐Would you be happy with the £45m signing of Lucas Bergvall to replace Elliot Anderson? Is he right for Forest? 🤔

Whilst that’ll be a huge challenge, it’s certainly refreshing to hear that there is confidence among the camp and evidently they’re encouraged by what they’ve seen from Pereira so far.

The atmosphere around the Forest training ground has been described as extremely positive since the Portuguese head coach replaced Sean Dyche.

So, as long as Pereira is backed in the summer transfer window, there’s no reason why the Tricky Trees can’t challenge for Europe again.

The links to Tottenham Hotspur’s highly-rated midfielder Lucas Bergvall and Barcelona’s Marc Casado suggest the type of market Marinakis and his chiefs will be recruiting in.

Keeping Morgan Gibbs-White will also be a pivotal factor, and it’s been reported that the club don’t expect to lose both him and Anderson in the same window.
