Nottingham Forest seemingly have scouts covering the World Cup this summer, and a World Cup star is in the club’s sights.
The Reds are appointing Oliver Glasner as the new head coach, with Vitor Pereira announcing that he was to leave Forest last week.

With the World Cup now entering its final fortnight, it would appear as though the transfer links will intensify somewhat and Forest want to raid Celtic, it would seem.
Forest want Daizen Maeda
According to Japanese outlet The Chosun, Maeda is a target for Forest and Brentford following his exploits at the World Cup.
Goals and assists in abundance for Celtic but how would YOU feel about Daizen Maeda signing for Forest this summer?
£20m feels very cheap!
The striker scored once at the competition and helped Japan reach the last 32, where they were narrowly beaten by Brazil.
Maeda is available for just £20 million this summer, and it would appear as though he would jump at the chance to move south of the border and leave Celtic this summer.
Everton are also keen to sign Maeda before the window closes and Forest might have to move quickly if they’re serious about signing Maeda this summer.
The 28-year-old scored 17 goals and claimed 10 assists at Celtic last season and also showcased the ability to play anywhere across the front three.
Perhaps the most exciting concept of signing Maeda is the pace he would bring to the Forest ranks going forward.
A report produced by FIFA after Japan lost to Brazil at the World Cup shows that Maeda out-sprinted Vinicius Junior during the last 32 match, highlighting his blistering qualities.
