I think Nottingham Forest should sign relegated West Ham star, he’s got a lot of potential

Nottingham Forest can take advantage of West Ham United’s relegation as the Hammers have a number of quality players who will be attainable.

West Ham will be forced to sell key assets this summer as they’ll have to balance their books for the Championship.

Name one Crystal Palace star you’d love to see join Glasner at Forest 👀

Adam Wharton.

The likes of Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Konstantinos Mavropanos will attract substantial interest, so they may be a little harder to sign.

But, there’s one West Ham star who’d be a very realistic target, and I think he’d be an excellent signing for Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest should try to sign Mads Hermansen

Nottingham Forest are expected to recruit a new goalkeeper this summer, and they should look no further than Mads Hermansen.

The West Ham number one joined in a £20m deal from Leicester City last summer, and despite a shaky start, he really proved his worth at the back end of the season.

Hermansen kept a very commendable six clean sheets upon returning to the starting line-up from February onwards.

The 25-year-old displayed real character to bounce back from a setback and looks ready to kick on and become a Premier League number one at the City Ground.

What should Oliver Glasner’s target be in the Premier League this season? 🤔

Oliver Glasner question.

The Denmark international is excellent at distribution, so he would be a good fit in Glasner’s system as the Austrian boss likes his sides to build out from the back.

Glasner also wants his goalkeeper to play a sweeper role at times, so Hermansen would certainly be an upgrade on Sels in that regard.

Under Enzo Maresca at Leicester, Hermansen regularly moved into a temporary back five to create a numerical advantage against the opposition’s first line of press.

Glasner will be looking to implement a similar strategy with the Tricky Trees, so if they can sign the Hammers’ number one for a reasonable fee, it’d be really smart business.

Hermansen is still a young goalkeeper and will only raise his level over the next few seasons.

Forest should test the water with a £15m bid.
