A former West Ham United and Wolves star has shared that he holds some sadness that he never got to sign for Nottingham Forest.

Forest are a club with a proud history, and over the years they’ve had some huge highs and some significant lows.

Will Oliver Glasner utilise any of the forgotten men at Nottingham Forest? If so, who?

Let us know who you have high hopes for…

Jarvis’ name is a good one to remember for when the Pointless round of one-cap England internationals comes up, with his only appearance coming in 2011.

The man who made his name with Wolves after initially starring in the lower leagues with Gillingham has made a claim involving Forest during a recent interview.

Matt Jarvis wanted to play for Forest

TalkSPORT have been conducting a series of interviews where they ask pundits and ex-players which club they wish they’d got the chance to play for during their career.

When Jarvis was asked, he picked Forest as the club he would have liked to have played for, although it’s not clear why that might have been.

Jarvis once cost West Ham £10.75 million when they took him from Wolves, but in 90 appearances, he managed just 12 goal contributions.

Jarvis saw his career hampered by injuries, and that ensured that he never truly realised his full potential despite his big move to West Ham.

Jarvis never actually scored against Forest during his career, and as a London-born performer, it’s a mystery why he wishes he could have played for Forest.

The winger was part of the team that famously lost 5-0 to West Ham at the City Ground in the FA Cup back in 2014.
