Dan Ndoye has enjoyed a pretty decent World Cup with Switzerland, even if it ended in tears.
Switzerland failed to set up a semi-final date with England when they lost 3-1 to Argentina in controversial circumstances.

Ndoye had equalised for the Swiss, but the Forest man was left disappointed after Breel Embolo was sent off, allowing Argentina to prevail.
His first season at Forest didn’t really go according to plan, with the winger failing to adapt properly to the Premier League, struggling under the influence of four different managers.
After his World Cup heroics, we asked you, the fans, whether or not the player is worthy of another crack on Trentside.

After his exploits at the World Cup – in particular the game against Argentina – we asked supporters whether or not Ndoye should get another chance.
We asked fans courtesy of our TalkingPoints community and via X whether or not he should be handed another chance and it seems the jury is out.

So far, however, some fans have been convinced he should get another go, with one fan saying:

Others disagreed, suggesting he’s not up to the physical demands of the Premier League. One fan said:

Finally, another fan was on the fence over Ndoye, conceding that although there’s a player there, he can’t be solely judged on the World Cup, saying:
Ndoye future won’t be resolved yet
It does feel as though Ndoye won’t have his future resolved as a matter of urgency.
He only finished playing at the World Cup last weekend and will now embark on a period of rest following a long season.
Ndoye will naturally have interest from Serie A given his exploits there with Bologna, and it will be fascinating to see what Forest decide to do.
It would seem as though the jury is out on whether or not Ndoye deserves another chance, and now the ball is in Oliver Glasner’s court.
