Oliver Glasner has overseen his first Nottingham Forest clash, with Arnaud Kalimuendo scoring in a 2-0 win over Notts County.
Igor Jesus scored in the first half of the contest before the French talisman bagged in the second half to open his account for pre-season.

It was the goal scored by Kalimuendo that caused the most intrigue, however, with the player finding himself out on loan last season when Sean Dyche was at the club.
Kalimuendo finished the campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he enjoyed a pretty solid end to the season but now there could be a way back for him at the City Ground.
How Oliver Glasner feels about Arnaud Kalimuendo
It would appear as though Glasner has given every Forest player a new lease of life and a clean slate – including Kalimuendo.
According to Bild, the striker still wants to go to Frankfurt, but Glasner has a different mindset now that he’s taken over, and the ball is in Kalimuendo’s court.
Glasner is keen to give the striker some more minutes across the pre-season campaign, and if he does impress, the Reds might decide to ask for a bigger transfer fee.
As things stand right now, Frankfurt want to buy the player for £20 million, but Forest are keen to do a deal at closer to £25 million.
Kalimuendo now has a chance to make a name for himself in the Premier League should he wish to do so, and with three more games to come in Portugal, there’s every chance he will impress Glasner sufficiently.

With Chris Wood not getting any younger and Igor Jesus and Taiwo Awoniyi the other striker options in the squad, it won’t be easy for Kalimuendo to earn a Forest reprieve.
However, he does offer something different to the club’s other strikers, and it would be great if he were given a proper chance to shine during the 2026/27 campaign.
