Nottingham Forest are currently in Portugal preparing for the second pre-season friendly against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.
Behind the scenes, however, Forest are working tirelessly to bring new players to the club before the season gets underway in a little over a month.

Although incoming deals are the ones that will get the fans excited, there will be some players who end up departing the City Ground too.
With the Reds touching down in Portugal, some news has emerged over one possible departure, and it hardly comes as a big surprise.
Nottingham Forest player Cuiabano wanted by three clubs
Cuiabano is a bit of a forgotten man at the City Ground on the basis that he’s never once turned out for the Reds in a competitive fixture.
The 23-year-old was signed from Botafogo as part of a triple deal that also included John Victor and Igor Jesus.
However, Cuiabano moved to Vasco da Gama on loan shortly after returning to the City Ground at the end of his loan back with Botafogo.
He will see out the rest of 2026 with his current club, but it already feels as though his days are numbered on Trentside.
According to Jornal O Globo, Torino, Strasbourg and Rennes have all contacted Forest over the player’s availability this summer.
Clearly, they feel that Cuiabano might welcome a proper crack at European football and can tempt Forest to break his loan with Vasco and then sell him.
Cuiabano has been a waste of a signing
It does feel as though there were some financial gymnastics in play with this deal between Evangelos Marinakis and John Textor.
Cuiabano looks unlikely to ever feature for Forest, and the challenge will be recouping a bit of profit on the £6 million that Forest paid for him.

These types of deals just frustrate supporters because at 23, there is an argument that with Forest looking to sign a left-back, he could be the one to come in and back up Neco Williams.
However, it looks as though he’s going to be consigned to the Forest history books with the likes of Josh Bowler and Hwang Ui-jo as players to have signed for the Reds and never played a competitive game for the club.
