Nottingham Forest want Folarin Balogun
According to FlashScore, a number of clubs are weighing up whether or not to make a move for Balogun this summer.
Newcastle are in the mix to sign him, with Forest, Everton and Fulham all thought to be watching the striker with the window now in full swing.
Dortmund are watching things closely too as they eye a new striker, with Juventus ready to pounce should the green light come that Balogun is set to leave this summer.
The 25-year-old scored 19 times in 43 appearances for Monaco last season, and in total he’s bagged 31 goals in 91 appearances since signing for the Ligue 1 outfit for £30 million.
Forest would welcome a new striker this summer as they look to progress under the management of Oliver Glasner.
Chris Wood, Igor Jesus, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Taiwo Awoniyi are the current striker options and if Balogun does arrive, it’d probably open the door for one of those players to leave.
Forest eyed Balogun in 2022
Back when Steve Cooper was gunning for promotion to the Premier League, Forest were linked with Balogun during the January transfer window.
Forest eventually signed Keinan Davis and Sam Surridge on that occasion, with Arsenal instead loaning Balogun out to Middlesbrough, where he endured a pretty frustrating spell.

Now, Balogun is far more experienced, however, and with three goals in four appearances at the World Cup, the interest in him does make a little bit more sense.
Signing him would remain a little bit risky, but if the price is right and Glasner wants him, then supporters would have to give him a chance.
