Nottingham Forest have won another pre-season game as Oliver Glasner’s team ran out 3-0 winners against Blackburn Rovers.
The Reds won the game courtesy of goals from Igor Jesus, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Taiwo Awoniyi, with the three strikers all getting on the score sheet.
After Saturday’s 2-0 win over Notts County, Glasner decided to field two different teams once again, and it paid dividends with the hunger evident within the squad.
Forest head coach Glasner was very animated on the sideline as Forest claimed another victory in pre-season, and it was quite intriguing to hear what he was demanding of his players.

In the first half, Glasner went with a very strong eleven, with the vast majority made up of players who were prominent in the team last season.
Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus looked lively, with the pair combining for the opening goal just before the half-time interval.
With the game being played in a small stadium, Glasner’s instructions could often be overheard on the live stream.
With the head coach trying to utilise his 3-4-3 strategy, he could often be heard screaming at Aina and Yates to push higher up the pitch to help Forest during attacks.
It’s clear that some players will have to adapt, and it will be fascinating to see if he can transform Aina and Neco Williams into competent wing-backs this season.
Yates will be keen to get more minutes under his belt in pre-season with the pending arrival of Xaver Schlager and other midfielders likely to come in and replace Elliot Anderson.
Glasner trait is going to be so popular
The fact that Glasner is a manager who is constantly looking for more from his players is going to be extremely popular with the Forest fan base.
Clearly, he recognises that pre-season is important when it comes to getting his ideas across, and that is a very positive trait.
The players all seem to be buying into what he’s trying to do, and ultimately it’s nice to have two wins and five goals on the board at this stage of pre-season.
Glasner knows there is work to do and it’s great to hear that he’s taking a hands-on approach to ensure he maximises what he gets out of the players during pre-season.
