Nottingham Forest are keen to sign a centre-back this summer, with Ousmane Diomande right at the top of the shortlist.
Diomande looks set to sign for Forest, although there are a few bits and pieces still to iron out.
Forest head coach Oliver Glasner is very keen to strengthen his squad, with Palace almost landing Diomande last season when Glasner was overseeing things at Selhurst Park.

It would appear as though this deal will still go through.
Sporting are holding out for around £37 million for Diomande, with £5 million set to be paid in the way of add-ons.
Right now, Record claims that the deal is still expected to go through, with Sporting already signing a player to replace Diomande at the club.
It’s believed that the delay is merely over how the extra £5 million will be paid to Sporting, with the two clubs still locked in talks.
Diomande has given the green light to this transfer, and ultimately, he’s already accepted the wage proposal, with things still very close to completion.
Could other clubs join the party?
The longer this goes without getting completed, the more likely it is that someone could come in and hijack this deal.
However, Diomande has given his word to Forest and already accepted the contract proposal, which does appear to suggest it will get done.
Reputable journalists are suggesting that this is close to getting over the line, and it doesn’t feel as though we’re too far away from a ‘Here we go’ from Fabrizio Romano!
Palace have sold Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea, and given their past interest in Diomande, they might fancy re-entering the race for the Sporting CP star.
Still, Forest are in the driving seat, and hopefully, this can be completed very soon.

Sporting prepare for life without Diomande
It’s quite evident that the Portuguese outfit are preparing for life without Diomande, given that they left him out of a friendly win over Monaco at the weekend.
Their next game is against Forest on Friday evening, and the hope will be that he can be pictured in the Garibaldi during that game and make his debut against his former club.
Diomande would be a quality addition to the City Ground ranks, alongside Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic; Glasner could be about to get himself a formidable defensive unit.
