Nottingham Forest are keen to sign Feyenoord star Givairo Read as the club looks to add new recruits to the squad.
Read looks as though he could leave Feyenoord this summer, with the Reds very keen to attract him to the City Ground.
Xaver Schlager has checked in on Trentside on a free transfer, and he could soon be followed by Ousmane Diomande, who is joining from Sporting CP.
Read is the subject of failed bids from Forest, and the Reds are upping the ante in their efforts to bring new recruits to the City Ground.

Feyenoord hint that Read might leave this summer
On Sunday, Feyenoord took on Rayo Vallecano in pre-season and in making Read the captain, the Eredivisie outfit might have hinted at his departure.
Read isn’t notorious for being the captain of Feyenoord, and naturally it came as a shock when he was handed the duties for the pre-season friendly.
Some cynics might feel as though this gesture is to highlight how thankful they are for the service that Read has given Feyenoord and is a nice touch to send him on the way to the Premier League.

Now, Forest have to get serious when it comes to the negotiating, with Feyenoord seemingly hanging on for around £25 million to sanction a departure.
Read was the captain for his current club during a 2-1 victory, and although he’s given the green light to a move to Forest, it’s highly unlikely he will kick up a stink to force through a City Ground move.
Read is well-versed in playing as a right-sided wing-back, and it would be a really useful addition to bring a 20-year-old to the club to compete for the spot in Glasner’s team with Ola Aina.
Now, with Forest keen to get new players in as quickly as possible, it remains to be seen if a new bid will force Feyenoord into selling their defensive star.
