Nottingham Forest have made a big announcement that Ibrahim Sangare is set to remain at the City Ground.
The Ivory Coast midfielder returned to training over the weekend after helping his country reach the knockout stages of the World Cup in the United States.

Sangare was instrumental last season as Forest finished the season outside the relegation places and also reached the semi-final of the Europa League.
Now, Sangare – a £30 million signing from PSV in 2023 – has been handed fresh terms to remain at the City Ground for a little while longer.
Ibrahim Sangare signs new Nottingham Forest contract
Sangare has signed his extension on Trentside after arriving back from the World Cup and he’s going to remain at the club until 2029.
This is just reward for a player who has significantly improved since first signing for the club, and he’s finally settled into life in England very well.
After penning his new contract, Sangare gave a reaction to the club’s official website, and it would seem he’s extremely happy to get the deal sorted.
He said: “I’m delighted to sign the new contract. It’s a good moment too for me to thank the fans. Last season wasn’t always easy, but they were always with us, and I have always felt their support.
“It’s been three years here and it has become a family for me in that time. I feel good, I have learned a lot, and worked hard to get to this point. I’m really looking forward to working with the new coach and for the season to start.”

Sangare looks set to remain an integral part of the team under Oliver Glasner and the head coach will almost certainly be happy to get this deal over the line.
