Nottingham Forest are stepping up their recruitment drive this summer, with Oliver Glasner keen to sign new players.

Up to four new additions could be made during this transfer window, and Forest are keen to get things moving on the incoming front.

Chelsea striker Liam Delap is the latest name linked with Nottingham Forest but would you take him on Trentside and why?

Glasner has been appointed by Forest to bring European football back to the City Ground, and Evangelos Marinakis will back his manager this summer.

With Givairo Read proving a tricky deal to do for Forest, it would now appear as though the club are moving on to other targets.

Nottingham Forest bid for Anan Khalaili

According to the New York Times, Khalaili has been the subject of a £17 million bid from Forest.

The Royale Union Saint-Gilloise player has been the subject of vast interest this summer and could be on the move from the Belgian outfit.

Forest’s first bid has been rejected by the European outfit, and it remains to be seen if Forest will go back in with another bid.

Intriguingly, Khalaili almost signed for Inter earlier in the transfer window, but the Serie A giants couldn’t get the relevant medical approval.

It was claimed after that the medical had been failed, but it was more to do with the Italian authorities and their strict medical assessments rather than a decision taken by the club.

Khalaili is 21 and has been with Saint-Gilloise since 2024, when he checked in from Maccabi Haifa.

The right-sided wing-back has made 15 appearances for the Israel national team, and last season he scored six goals and registered six assists from 52 appearances, with eight outings coming in the Champions League.

Would you take Anan Khalaili at Nottingham Forest if we can’t get Givairo Read over the line?

Forest are stepping up their recruitment drive!

Forest are facing competition for the signature of this Read alternative.

It’s been suggested that Bournemouth and Newcastle have also shown an interest in the player during the current window.

Inter agreed a deal worth £25 million before being knocked back at the medical stage, and Forest will have to increase their bid should they want to get this deal over the line.
