Chris Wood was in phenomenal form last season for Nottingham Forest as he helped fire the club back into Europe, as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side qualified for the Europa Conference League.
The New Zealand international featured in 36 of Nottingham Forest’s Premier League fixtures last season, scoring 20 goals and providing three assists.
However, Chris Wood is currently 33 years old, and Nottingham Forest may be interested in finding a long-term replacement for the striker.

This has seen them linked to a number of striking options during the summer transfer window, but fans may be excited to see them linked with one name in particular, a striker who has been linked with other top English clubs, past and present.
Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is keen to secure a move to the Premier League this summer, according to reports in Teamtalk.
The Serbian international has spent the last three years of his life at the Italian giants, opting to join them instead of Arsenal in January 2022.

Since joining Juventus, the club have struggled to meet his ambitions of lifting the Serie A, and he now appears to be looking for a move away from the club.
While he has been heavily linked with Manchester United, Nottingham Forest are also interested in signing the striker, with Vlahovic reportedly demanding a weekly wage of £190,000.
Dusan Vlahovic’s career stats
He began his career in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade, impressing clubs from the major leagues as he imposed himself on defences from a young age, using his large figure.
Fiorentina would officially sign Vlahovic in February 2018, with the striker not allowed to play for the club until July 2018.
| Team | Appearances | Goals | |
| 2015-18 | Partizan Belgrade | 27 | 3 |
| 2018-2022 | Fiorentina | 108 | 49 |
| 2022-present | Juventus | 143 | 56 |
| 2020-present | Serbia | 36 | 14 |
He would slowly work his way into the side in his first two seasons before turning a corner and becoming one of the best strikers in Serie A, scoring 49 goals across 108 matches for Fiorentina.
Vlahovic’s career at Juventus has been relatively disappointing, as he has not fired as he was expected to upon his signing for the club.
However, the blame should not be laid solely his way, as the club have struggled since he has been there, as Juventus wrestle over the identity they want to have moving forward: a club that plays free-flowing football or a club that approaches every game looking to win by any means possible.
