Nottingham Forest midfielder Claudio Yacob is attracting interest from Olympiacos, according to Sportime.
The Reds only signed the 31-year-old defensive midfielder in September, as he joined on a deal until the summer of 2020. Having signed on a free transfer, it looked to be a superb piece of business.
However, he’s found opportunities hard to come by under Martin O’Neill. He may be allowed to leave the club in the summer.

According to Sportime, Olympiacos are considering making a move for the midfielder as a potential replacement for Bibras Natkho.
The Greek Super League club will be hoping that Evangelos Marinakis could help them get a deal over the line.
In this case, Olympiacos reportedly believe that Yacob can add some much-needed experience to the side.
It isn’t the first time that the club have been linked with the Argentinian. They were reportedly interested in signing him last summer, before he eventually ended up at the City Ground.

Professional
There’s no doubt that Yacob hasn’t done a lot wrong during his time with the Reds.
He has only made 14 appearances in the Championship this season. But he has shown that he still has the ability to be a solid player at this level.
At one stage, he was one of the first names on the team sheet under Aitor Karanka.
It just hasn’t worked out for him under O’Neill. He’s only been able to make three appearances under the Northern Irishman. The likes of Jack Colback, Ryan Yates, Ben Watson, Adlène Guedioura and Pelé have been ahead of him in the pecking order.

O’Neill recently hinted that the midfielder could be back in the picture after the international break.
Speaking to the Nottingham Post, he said: “I am not making any promises, but, for the run-in after the international break, I am hoping he will be back in the fold again.”
This could be last chance saloon for the midfielder to prove he is worth keeping hold of. O’Neill will without doubt be using the last eight games of the season to help mould his plans for next season.
If it doesn’t work out, then the Reds should still be able to pick up a tidy profit on the Argentinian. It was still a very good move to pick him up on a free transfer.
