Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton has named his team to face Coventry City at the City Ground this evening.

The manager has restored Yuri Ribeiro to the starting lineup, with Gaetan Bong dropping out of the 18.

Elsewhere, Lyle Taylor and Joe Lolley return; whilst there’s a rare outing for midfielder Samba Sow who replaces Ryan Yates.

The academy graduate is on the bench alongside Harry Arter who has shaken off an ankle problem.

Forest need to start winning games and with Wycombe at home on Saturday this is a good opportunity to put some more points on the board.

The Reds are languishing near the foot of the table but can go above the Sky Blues with three points against them this evening.

Mark Robins oversaw a stunning win over table-topping Reading at the weekend and Forest will be in for a tough examination this evening.

Hughton oversaw a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on Saturday, with Forest very rarely testing Marcus Bettinelli in the Boro goal.

He will be discovering things about his squad of players all the time though and will need a response this evening.

Tonight is the first time Forest and Coventry have met since 2012. On that occasion goals from Garath McCleary and Robbie Findley gave the Reds a 2-0 win.

Following the announcement of tonight’s team, supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss the starting eleven.
