Nottingham Forest will face Wycombe Wanderers at the City Ground this afternoon looking to go into the international break with a bang.
The Reds beat Coventry City 2-1 last time out with Lyle Taylor scoring a late penalty to secure three big points.
Chris Hughton wasn’t happy with his team’s performance in the second half and will hope to see an improvement today.
Ahead of this afternoon’s fixture we looked at the team which could be called upon by the Forest manager.
In goal and back four
Brice Samba was in good form in midweek and under Hughton’s management he has looked more like the goalkeeper from the first half of last season.
At right-back it seems as though Cyrus Christie will play and he is striving for consistency after a rough couple of outings.
Yuri Ribeiro returned at left-back on Wednesday and his performance seemed good enough to warrant him keeping his place.
Scott McKenna has been a real highlight since signing from Aberdeen during the transfer window and he should start again.
Alongside him it seems likely that Tobias Figueiredo will start, although he is desperate for a performance.
Harry Arter was an unused substitute during Wednesday’s 2-1 win but could be restored to the starting eleven today.
He is likely to take the place of Samba Sow who although good in midweek, will probably be in need of a rest after a period without football.
Alongside him, it’ll either be Jack Colback or Ryan Yates.
The former Newcastle man wore the armband last time out but after taking a whack in the first half, he might not be risked here.
Lyle Taylor scored his second goal of the season against Coventry and should spearhead the attack once more.
Miguel Angel Guerrero will once again be on the bench.
Creative spark Luke Freeman is struggling to get going and he could be handed a rest against Wycombe.
That could see Sammy Ameobi come in, with Joe Lolley reverting to the No.10 position.
Anthony Knockaert is likely to retain his place on the right-hand side for the visit of the Chairboys.
Here is how the Forest team might look this afternoon…
