Nottingham Forest are eyeing a move for talented West Ham youngster Emmanuel Longelo, according to Ex-WHU employee on Twitter.
The youngster penned a new deal with the Hammers back in May and he has a contract at the London Stadium until 2023.
He made his first-team debut for the Londoners in September 2020, featuring for the last 21 minutes of a 5-1 win over Hull City.
The left-back has made one senior outing during 2021/22. He played the full 90 minutes as West Ham lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.

Watford Hiring Roy Hodgson Is A Joke.
Longelo has been a regular for the under-23 ranks this season. He’s made 13 appearances, playing as a left-back or occasionally as a left-winger.
It’s unclear at this stage whether Forest are trying to make a move this month, or whether they’ll wait until the summer. Max Lowe is the first choice left-back at the club.
He’s only on loan from Sheffield United, however, and it seems the club are making contingency plans.
At 21, Longelo will fancy a crack at regular first-team football and he stands more chance of doing that at Forest.
With just a year remaining on his deal in the summer, perhaps the Hammers would be willing to do business for Longelo before next week’s deadline.
Reaction: What have West Ham fans said about Forest interest in Longelo?
It’s pretty fair to say that the Hammers faithful aren’t happy with the interest in the young full-back, with many feeling that he could still do a job.
As a youngster, it does seem strange that the Hammers are willing to cash in on a player who has been given a Europa League outing by David Moyes this season.
