Nottingham Forest defeated Fulham to claim their eighth win in nine games last night, with Philip Zinckernagel scoring in a 1-0 win. After the game, Dane Murphy’s trusted lieutenant Taymour Roushdi issued a passionate message to the fans on Twitter.
What a time it is to be a Forest fan. The club have claimed more points than any other team since Steve Cooper was appointed in September, claiming 72 points under the Welsh head coach.

Spirits are high across the club. The players have bought into the manager’s mindset, whilst supporters are selling out games both home and away with every game a spectacle to look forward to.
Cooper has instilled a real confident approach in his players. Forest now go out to try and win each and every game, operating with a very flexible system.
Forest have three games remaining and winning all of them should see the team reach the Premier League. If the Reds can beat Swansea on Saturday, the game against Bournemouth looks like a cracker of an affair next Tuesday.
Roushdi arrived on Trentside at the same time as Dane Murphy. The Head of Football Administration is the American’s right-hand man and he’s helped revive the club away from the green bit.
What has Roushdi said to the Forest fans?
The member of staff has issued a rousing response to last night’s victory. Naturally, it’s a message that the fans can buy into and has called on the fans to stick with the team in the closing stages of the season.
Roushdi’s message is actually retweeting a post from Director of Football, Kyriakos Dourekas. He is also keen for Forest fans to keep believing with just a week or so left of the 46-game campaign.
If Forest can pull this off, it might just be the greatest comeback in Championship history. If anyone can get the Reds over the line, it’s Steve Cooper.
