Bright Osayi-Samuel is now wanted by Bournemouth and Crystal Palace after being linked with Nottingham Forest earlier this month. According to The Sun, both clubs could make a move for the Fenerbahce star before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
The Nigerian winger left QPR to sign for the Istanbul-based club in 2021. He’s made 89 appearances for his current club but he could now be allowed to leave this month.
Osayi-Samuel made 115 appearances during his time at QPR. He scored 13 goals and registered 13 assists for the Championship outfit before leaving for Turkey two years ago.

The 25-year-old has been playing as a right-sided wing-back at Fenerbahce. During his time with QPR he was viewed as more of a forward, however, and he has pace to burn.
Former Forest boss Mark Warburton praised Osayi-Samuel back in 2020. He called the player a ‘real handful’ and said that he ‘terrifies defenders’ after a fine run of form.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Osayi-Samuel was linked with a move to Forest by Nigerian reports earlier this month. With the Reds still looking for another forward, the Fenerbahce man fits the profile.
Forest have added Chris Wood to their ranks during the January transfer window. He is viewed as a replacement for the injured Taiwo Awoniyi, however, and some pace is still required.
Osayi-Samuel wanted by two clubs after Forest interest
Forest would welcome an injection of pace and Osayi-Samuel would provide that. The Reds are on the lookout for some new additions and perhaps the Nigerian is on the radar.
Osayi-Samuel does have experience playing in England but not in the Premier League. As a result, if he did sign for the Reds there would definitely be an element of risk involved.

The player could operate in a number of positions. However, he’s been operating as a wing-back and that’s not something that Forest currently deploy.
Rumour rating: 5/10 – Osayi-Samuel would be a useful signing for the Reds but it’s not one we envisage happening this month.
Forest will likely have bigger fish to fry. As a result, it seems as though the Reds will opt to sign another attacker over the one-time Nigeria international.
