Nottingham Forest have been scouted by Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici, with the Italian a huge fan of Brennan Johnson. The Spurs figure was a regular at the City Ground last season, with Djed Spence and James Garner also in his sights.
A report from Football London has made these claims. It now remains to be seen whether or not Paratici moves to sign Johnson if Forest are relegated this season.

The former Juventus employee did manage to land Spence. He’s currently on loan with Rennes though, with Antonio Conte viewing him as one for the future instead.
Paratici was an avid follower of Forest during their promotion-winning campaign. The Reds played an attractive brand of football and it’s no surprise he was keeping tabs on the team.
Johnson was one player that Forest were always going to keep after promotion. He signed a new four-year contract with the club and he’s been in fine form this season.
It could soon be all change at Tottenham. Conte is edging closer to the exit door in North London, with Mauricio Pochettino thought to be on the club’s radar.
It’s absolutely no surprise to see big clubs still courting Johnson. He scored 19 goals and claimed 10 assists last season but now he’s beginning to star in the Premier League.
Forest scouted by Paratici and he likes Johnson
The phone will be red hot for Evangelos Marinakis if Forest are relegated. He will likely be fielding calls from a lot of Premier League clubs over the availability of Johnson in the summer.

Johnson has scored nine goals in all competitions during 2022/23. He has been like a different player since the World Cup and ultimately he’s the club’s match-winner.
The Reds will be hoping they don’t need to cross the bridge of Johnson possibly going. Ultimately, wins are needed though and they can’t keep sliding down the Premier League table.
