Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper is unsure whether or not Serge Aurier will be fit to return against Leeds United tomorrow night.
The Reds travel to Elland Road without a win since they beat Leeds in February. As a result, Cooper is desperately seeking a rare victory on the road and has been talking to the club’s official website.
It’s rare in the Premier League to have such a quick turnaround between games. This is a rearranged game though and Forest will hope to secure a victory.
Aurier missed out for the Reds on Saturday as they drew with Wolves. He picked up an injury during the international break with the Ivory Coast and returned to the City Ground early.
Neco Williams played instead of the 30-year-old last time out and Cooper isn’t sure whether Aurier will return tomorrow or not.
He told the club’s official website: “Serge is still recovering. We’ll give him every chance of being available but we still haven’t decided.
“We are as we were before Wolves. A couple of lads have obviously returned and it was great to get them back on the pitch.”

The Ivorian came on at half-time in the reverse game between tomorrow night’s teams. He helped the Reds towards victory and Forest need him.
Nothing against Williams at all. On Saturday, he produced arguably his strongest performance in a Forest shirt but he’s not as defensively sound as Aurier.
Forest will hope to have the man who reached the Champions League semi-final last season available more often than not.
He’s a massive part of the Forest defensive unit and the Reds will benefit from his leadership qualities inside the dressing room.
Cooper has been known to remain coy when quizzed on certain players ahead of big games.
With that in mind, supporters will hope that Aurier is fit and this is another example of the gaffer keeping his cards close to his chest.
