TalkSPORT pundit Ally McCoist has delivered his verdict on whether or not Nottingham Forest will avoid relegation. The Reds are currently languishing inside the bottom three without a Premier League win in 10 games.
The Reds last tasted a win in February. On that occasion, they defeated Leeds United to go seven points clear of the bottom three and their slip down the table has been alarming.

Forest will be desperate to try and avoid relegation from the top flight. Last May, the Reds reached the Premier League for the first time in 23 years and they won’t want their stay to be short-lived.
McCoist has sung the praises of Forest previously. He commentated on a couple of their games in the FA Cup last season when the Reds reached the quarter-final of the competition.
This time around, however, the pundit doesn’t feel as though he can be quite so positive about the Reds. He believes that they’re sinking without a trace and will be relegated.

He told TalkSPORT: “I will go for Southampton, Leicester and Forest.
“To be fair to the Southampton, Leicester and Forest fans, my bottom three last week were Everton, Leeds and West Ham, so it’s changing every week.
“It looks as though from Leeds down, Everton, Forest, Leicester and Southampton you can pick your three from those five, but anything can happen, this season has surprised you but I’m going with the bottom three as it stands.”
McCoist has delivered his Forest relegation verdict and he’s likely to be right
It’s hard at the moment for even the most ardent Forest supporter to disagree with McCpist. The Reds have been hapless for weeks and it’s fair to say that they probably will go down.
Forest won’t get anything at Liverpool. The Anfield giants beat Liverpool 6-1 on Monday night and they will have revenge in their sights for their defeat at the City Ground.

Forest then face Brighton, Brentford and Southampton, with those games looking absolutely crucial in their quest to beat the drop and ensure another season in the Premier League.
McCoist is one of the better pundits out there. He has hit the nail on the head here and Forest look like being relegated given their frankly horrific current form.
