A wild report has emerged from Nottingham Forest and it concerns the future of midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.
It’s claimed by The Telegraph that Steve Cooper has banished the experienced performer from training after a bust-up at the weekend.
It’s believed that Shelvey was told not to board the bus to Merseyside to face Liverpool after reacting angrily to his omission from the team.

The 31-year-old was named on the bench during a team meeting prior to the team’s departure and he reacted in a manner that wasn’t acceptable.
As a result, Cooper opted to keep him on Trentside instead. The head coach named talented midfielder Oliver Hammond in his squad as a replacement for Shelvey.
Forest lost the game 3-2 at Anfield. It was a battling performance, however, and each player gave their all for the cause.
Cooper was pleased with his team’s performance against a strong Liverpool side.
On another day, Forest might have departed with something for their efforts but once again defending from set pieces proved their downfall.
Now, Shelvey’s future will come into question. He’s been told to stay away from training and it remains to be seen what the future holds.
Report emerged regarding Forest man Shelvey shouldn’t come as a surprise
The only stunning element here is just how long it’s taken the midfielder to showcase a stinking attitude.
Since checking in at Forest, he’s not set the place alight and had made pathetic errors in games against Aston Villa and Everton.
Shelvey’s attitude has been called into question in the past. A glut of red cards saw Newcastle fans lose faith in him and clearly, there is an application issue.

Forest can’t afford any passengers. Furthermore, Cooper is probably one of the most mild-mannered people in football so to fall out with him is peak Shelvey!
Now it remains to be seen what will happen here. Shelvey has a decent-sized contract but it’s hard to imagine anyone taking him off Forest’s hands any time soon.
