Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was devastated by something Steve Cooper did yesterday.

The Reds lost 2-1 to Brentford, with the winning goal coming in the fourth minute of injury time.

Forest were in the ascendency at half-time. Danilo’s second goal in four days had given the Reds a lead at the interval.

Goals from Ivan Tony and Jay Dasilva compounded Forest to a 13th defeat on the road.

Marinakis isn’t happy. The Telegraph has claimed that he was left furious with something that Cooper did yesterday.

The game hinged on some baffling substitutes with the head coach choosing once again to bring on Andre Ayew.

The Ghanaian has been a pretty drab signing for the Reds yet he keeps getting on the pitch.

Sam Surridge is barely getting any game time, whilst the in-form Emmanuel Dennis is also on the fringes now.

Forest’s owner is at breaking point. It’s claimed that he’s furious with the in-game management from Cooper and his staff.

Marinakis has invested heavily in the playing squad this season and ultimately he wants to see some return.

Going down to the Championship isn’t in his plan and Forest must do whatever it takes to survive.

Forest owner Marinakis devastated with Cooper decisions

From jubilation against Brighton to despair once again against Brentford. Forest are making life very hard for themselves.

Cooper has done lots of good since he came to the club. That goes without saying but yesterday was on him.

He made his final sub just before Danilo picked up an injury and that has to fall on him.

The decision to give Ayew over half an hour of game time once again was baffling.

He was a free signing made by the Reds in January and the Reds fan base haven’t warmed to him.

The report says that Cooper isn’t going to get the sack at this late stage of the campaign.

Marinakis isn’t happy though and the head coach desperately needs a couple more wins.
