Nottingham Forest defender Giulian Biancone has suggested that he’s ready to return to full training after a serious knee injury.
The versatile performer suffered an ACL rupture back in October and that ruled him out for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign
It proved a big blow for the player. He had shown flashes during his fleeting appearances that he could be a very useful player for Steve Cooper.

Biancone only played for 16 minutes in the Premier League and also made an appearance in the first round of the Carabao Cup at Grimsby.
Disaster struck during a training session shortly after Forest beat Liverpool in October. It quickly became clear that Biancone would be out for some time.

Obviously, the Frenchman can’t play for the Reds this season. He’s not been included in the 25-man squad but it would seem as though a return to training is on the cards.
Biancone was signed by Forest from Troyes. He made 33 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and Forest parted wth a small feee to sign him.
Ultimately, it woulde appear that he was added to provide competitions. Given Forest’s injury record, however, he’d have likely played plenty of football had he stayed fit.

The youngster has posted a positive update on Twitter. It’s thought that he could now be set to return to training at the City Ground.
Interestingly, he’s claimed that he’s hoping to help the team achieve their survival goal. That would seem odd considering he’s ot in the 25-man squad.
Biancone could provide a positive influence on the training ground, however, The player has taken to Twitter to suggest that he’s due back at Forest this weeek.
Biancone can operate as a central defender or as a right-sided wing-back. The Reds will hope that he can enjoy a positive end to the season and then play a part in their campaign during 2023/24.
He certainly has some lost time to make up for at Forest.
