Chris Sutton has told BBC Sport that he was a Nottingham Forest fan as a boy during his latest round of predictions.
The often outspoken pundit has this weekend predicted the Reds to claim a valuable three points against Southampton.
Forest must claim a win against the Premier League’s bottom club on Monday night at the City Ground.

The Reds are still inside the relegation zone but with things very tight, they have to make sure they start taking care of business.
Sutton hasn’t really predicted Forest to claim wins all too often during the 2022/23 campaign.
In fairness to him, he’s not been too far wrong with some of his predictions – as negative as they’ve occasionally been.
It’s no secret that Sutton was born in Nottingham but now he’s shared that he was actually a fan of the club.
He told BBC Sport: “As for Nottingham Forest? Well, I think my boyhood club are going to stay up. They have got some tough games coming up but they’re still scrapping.
“This is one they will expect to win and it could be the moment they kick on.”
Forest have already defeated Southampton this season. A 1-0 win at St Mary’s in January was the club’s only win on the road during 2022/23.
Sutton was a Forest fan as a boy and he’s backing survival bid
Sutton hasn’t mentioned too many times this season that he was indeed a Forest supporter as a child.
Now, he’s firmly throwing his weight behind the survival bid and he thinks Forest will get out of their current plight.

Beating Southampton is a must. Forest play Chelsea and Arsenal next and they simply have to get three points on Monday.
If the Reds do get three points against the Saints they will ensure their opponents have one foot in the second tier.
That would increase the chances of Forest surviving considerably and hopefully Sutton’s 2-1 prediction proves successful.
