Morgan Gibbs-White has lauded the impact of Danilo on the Nottingham Forest team after starring against Southampton.

The Reds claimed a huge win against the Saints to put their Premier League destiny back in their own hands.

Forest can ill-afford any more disappointments this season and now they probably need another win to guarantee safety.

Gibbs-White and Danilo have both been superb in recent weeks and Forest have two wonderful players for the future.

The 23-year-old was Steve Cooper’s primary target in the summer and he checked in from Wolves.

Danilo was a surprise signing made by the Reds in January and he cost the club £16 million from Palmeiras.

He’s now scored in his last three games for Forest and he’s proving a very useful addition to the squad.

Gibbs-White is a huge fan and he’s praised the player and also offered him some sound advice.

He told the club’s official website: “I’ve said before he’s an incredible player.

“He’s got so much ability and he can go a very long way. He just needs to stay grounded.

“Danilo is going to be vital for us in these next three games.”

The Forest club record signing was in fine form for the Reds once again in the Southampton clash.

Forest have no time to milk the Southampton game and they must now kick on against Chelsea this weekend.

The Blues have little to play for this season and there is no reason why Forest can’t go down there and get a positive result.

In order to do that they will need Gibbs-White and Danilo working together in tandem once again.

If the duo can keep shining over the next three games then Forest should stay up at a canter this season.
