Brennan Johnson and Odion Ighalo have reacted on Instagram after Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi scored twice against Southampton.
The Reds talisman put Forest 2-0 up during the victory, scoring twice in three first-half minutes.
It’s been a frustrating few months for the Forest striker who picked up an injury in January and then missed three months of action.
Monday night saw him take his goal tally to seven for the season and hopefully, he can score a few more between now and the end of the season.

The Reds scrambled out of the relegation zone with their latest win and they now sit 16th in the Premier League.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Forest have Chelsea and Crystal Palace away and Arsenal at home left to finish the season and one more win should secure survival.
It would be nice for the Reds to go to Stamford Bridge this weekend and really crank up the pressure on their rivals in the battle against relegation.
Awoniyi signed for the Reds from Union Berlin for £18 million and but for his injury, he would have scored far more goals than he has.
The physical presence that the Nigerian brings to the team is brilliant and he looks like being a brilliant player for the Reds in the future.
Johnson and Ighalo reacted on Instagram after Awoniyi scores twice for Forest
Ighalo is a Nigerian stalwart. He’s played 37 times for his country and scored 16 goals, having spells in England with Manchester United and Watford.
He’s responded with a short and sweet, ‘congrats, bro’, on Awoniyi’s Instagram following Monday’s brace.
Johnson has gone a little bit deeper. He registered an assist for Awoniyi’s first goal and he said: “Big game player.”
Awoniyi is certainly showcasing himself as a player for the big occasion and has also scored against Liverpool and West Ham this season.
With three massive games left to come this season, that could bode well for Forest going forward.
