Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo did something unbelievably classy ahead of the Reds’ win against Arsenal. The 27-year-old was an unused substitute for the contest and is now nearing the end of his maiden campaign at the City Ground.
Toffolo was signed from beaten play-off finalists Huddersfield in the summer. Now, on the club’s matchday pass video, he’s been spotted enjoying a warm embrace with some of the club’s younger supporters.

Interestingly, his moment of genuine warmth came against Arsenal. The Gunners received some bad press last month after their players were spotted blanking a young mascot at one of their games.
On that occasion, the mascot’s dad did ring TalkSPORT to defend the players, But still, this was a very classy moment from Toffolo and he quite clearly made the day extra special for the club’s young supporters.
The Forest man seems like one of the game’s good guys. He was interviewed by the club’s official podcast On and Off the Pitch recently and he came across really well.
This season, the left-back has enjoyed some good moments in a Forest shirt. He’s largely been second fiddle behind Renan Lodi but he’s never sulked.
Toffolo has made 20 appearances for the Reds. He did almost leave the club in January when Anderlecht wanted him on loan but that move fell through.
Now, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the player. He will be craving regular football and after survival was secured, he may consider his options.
Toffolo did something classy before Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
It’s hard not to like Toffolo. The delight was etched all over his face as he made a real fuss of the club’s younger supporters alongside captain Joe Worrall.

The pair did pose for photos and hand out autographs, with Toffolo talking to the three youngsters and asking them how they thought the game would go.
It’d have been easy this season for Toffolo to sulk. He’s not played all too often for the club but given his attitude and personality, nobody would begrudge him sticking around.
