Nottingham Forest are chasing Manchester United performer Anthony Elanga and it’s now been claimed when he could sign. The player is the subject of a £15 million bid from the Reds and a deal could be close.
Forest have moved to bolster their attacking ranks. Elanga has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and now Charlotte Duncker from The Times has claimed when things could be finalised.

A medical has been booked for the player on Monday. It’s believed that Elanga could then sign his Forest contract and be in training with his new teammates early this week.
The 21-year-old could prove a shrewd piece of business if Forest can get the deal over the line. Elanga has made 55 appearances for the Red Devils during his career and he has bags of potential.
The winger has only scored four goals and claimed four assists for United. It seems crystal clear that he will need to improve that output on Trentside if he’s to truly win over the fan base.

Elanga should prove to be a welcome addition to the Forest team. Last season, they had a front three of Morgan Gibbs-White, Taiwo Awonyi and Brennan Johnson, with the United man now set to join them.

Duncker is a reputable source of Forest transfer news these days and it’s fair to presume this is gospel. Now, the Reds supporters will hope to see Elanga in a Forest shirt in the coming weeks.

The youngster has a very big ceiling. He could become a fan favourite very quickly if he performs on Trentside and the hope will be that he can really kick on now.
Forest have been slow with their transfer business this summer. Ola Aina became the first signing yesterday and now things could be about to intensify over the next week as Steve Cooper aims to get sorted.
