Callum Hudson-Odoi has claimed that he can’t wait to start playing alongside one Nottingham Forest star after arriving at the club.
The Reds fought off Fulham, Everton and Lille last week to land the winger from Chelsea on a long-term contract.
Now, the player has some work to do. He’s not had the best last couple of years and he will be desperate to kick on.

Hudson-Odoi burst onto the scene at Chelsea. After a serious injury, however, he struggled for form and was loaned to Bayer Leverkusen last season.
Xabi Alonso didn’t really take to him in Germany. He made just 21 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit and will now be looking for more frequent action.
MORE FOREST STORIES
There will be a couple of players who will hope to help Hudson-Odoi settle. The player who has checked in from Chelsea played with Morgan Gibbs-White for the England under-17s.
The pair helped the nation with the Under-17 World Cup in 2017. Hudson-Odoi also knows Ola Aina and he’s been discussing his familiar new teammates.
He told the club’s official website: “I know Ola (Aina), obviously from Chelsea. Obviously, there’s Morgan too. I know him from the England youth setup when we went to the World Cup and won it.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing Morgan again and catching up. All of the lads though really, I can’t wait to meet them and see how things go.”
Hudson-Odoi can’t wait to play alongside Forest star again
This has the potential to be a really good signing by Forest. The Reds needed to replace Brennan Johnson and they might have just done that.
Hudson-Odoi has bags of potential. Given that he’s been around for a few years, it’s easy to forget just how much potential he’s still got.

Forest need to kick on this season and they’ve signed the players to help them do that. The Reds will hope that Steve Cooper can use his relationship to unearth the hidden potential in Hudson-Odoi.
If he can get him back to his best, Forest might just hit the jackpot. He was brilliant at his very best for Chelsea and now he will hope to hit the ground running for the Reds.
