PSV star Isaac Babadi has explained what Ibrahim Sangare did before he made the move to Nottingham Forest. The Reds smashed their transfer record by landing the midfielder for a fee in the region of £32 million.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder was present as Sangare said his goodbyes to PSV. Babadi has come through the youth ranks at PSV and he’s now starting to get some game time in the Eredivisie.

He’s made seven appearances for the club and has featured in this season’s Champions League qualifiers against Strum Graz and Rangers.
Sangare will leave a big void at PSV. He was respected among his peers and among the club’s fan base, with his absence set to be felt back at his previous club.
Now, Babadi has spoken about what happened when Sangare said his goodbyes. It’s fair to say that leaving PSV has proved tough for the midfielder.

Babadi told Voetbal Primeur: “He stood with tears in his eyes during the farewell speech. That was very impressive and emotional. Ibrahim was like a big brother to me and perhaps my favourite. Now I have used his words and lessons to grow myself.”

The Reds have done brilliantly well to get Sangare into the Premier League. The Reds fought off competition from PSG, Bayern Munich and Liverpool in the end to land the talented Ivorian.

Now, Forest fans will be buzzing to see him in action. He has all of the qualities to star in the Premier League and he’s exactly what Forest have missed in their midfield.
It says a lot about the player that he was in tears when leaving PSV. He clearly wears his heart on his sleeve and hopefully, he can help Forest do well this season.
